This has been an event long cooking, so it is time to act. Tomorrow, we will be having a nerf gun war at the pool for all parties interested during their class time.

1. Eye protection of some kind is mandatory. I’d like the children to stay with good vision.

2. Only traditional plastic bullets and water guns are allowed. Gel weapons or anything that shoots objects that could severely harm people will not be allowed. 

3. Bullets will probably be lost. We will try to recover everything a swimmer brings in; however, it is likely they will leave without the full amount of bullets they came in with. 

The water will be active and I plan to do some swimming regardless for practice; however I believe it important to reward the children for the work they put in the entire season. If they cannot derive joy from the activity they take part in, they may as well find another to do. I myself will bring multiple weapons in case a child forgets or is uninformed of the event. Please take care and prepare for the carnage.
