City Meet Warm Ups & More!

    Warm Ups
    Thursday - 10&Under Prelims: 1:00-1:20pm, Lane 8, Boy's Pool
    Friday - 11&Over Prelims: 8:25-8:40am, Lanes 1-2, Boy's Pool
Saturday - Finals: TBD: sometime between 9:10am and 10:30am

Psych Sheets and Timelines, and more, can be found on GKAISA's City Meet webpage.

DO NOT BE LATE FOR WARM UPS! There is 15-20 minutes of in-water time to prepare for the meet. If your swimmer is jumping in just 5 minutes late, they missed 30% of the warm up. Be early and hang out with the team!

    The Two Courses
This information is the same as it is every year, and is good to know for first-time parents. The main competition pool at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center is split into two courses. There's a floating bridge, a bulkhead, that divides the big pool. The course near the big scoreboard, to the spectator's left, has 9 or 10 lanes for competition. That pool is the "Scoreboard End", and because swimming as a sport has slightly more girls, that bigger course is the Girl's course during events. The other course, towards the spectator's right has 8 lanes. That is often called the "Dive Well End" - not to be confused with the other pool, the actual "Dive Well", where there are diving boards and the high dives - because is near the Dive Well. That is the Boy's course during events.
During Finals, on Saturday, all events will take place in the Boy's course. Continuous warm ups will be available in the Girl's course. I like to call it "Boys" and "Girls".
