I wanted to remind everyone that City Meet signups are open and due by the 16th. I have received reports that there is a bit of a problem with the sign up process via swimtopia; I am currently working to figure out a solution. In the meantime, the signups appear to be working via the app, so I highly suggest those of you who haven't signed up give it a try. 

For new and returning parents, I will have an information sheet about how the meet functions and other useful details produced hopefully later today. I once again highly recommend those of you with the time but are hesitant to travel to consider signing up. All children have improved quite impressively, and I believe it important for the children to understand just how far they have come. I understand if there are other events that need to be attended; however, I implore you to keep it in high consideration at the very least. 

As for the meet theme, the second place tie winner is Mafia. I decided to save this for city because it would be easier to wear gear such as hats and dark sunglasses in the heat versus Minion related gear. The idea is the very standard look of an old gangster. Fedoras and dark shades are two standard ideas I have; however, go crazy with the dress code as long as no one dies in the heat. Please remember no Tommy guns or Cigars are permitted as it is bad for the children's health. We also are not planning on any heists, so any rumors of nearby bank robberies will not be attributed to the SAC. Finally extortion of other teams is highly frowned upon, so please refrain from engaging in any real criminal activity that is not approved by the Boss.
