Hello SAC parents!

Swimming year-round is a great way to continue to improve! SAC has the same great coaching staff as we do in the summer. During the school year, we continue to work on technique while building up training volume to improve strength in the water. SAC participates in monthly meets held in Knoxville, Nashville, Kingsport, and Huntsville. While encouraged to track individual improvement, meets are entirely optional.

SAC has continuous registration, so you can join the team at any time! We also allow members to pause and resume their accounts on a monthly basis as needed to accommodate a changing schedule. In addition to monthly team dues 1) you must be a member of the Community Center and 2) you must register with USA Swimming. The only other sign-up fee is to pay for your first month.

Swimmers aged 12 and Under should start in Age Group 1. Swimmers aged 13 and Over should be in the Senior group. Age Group 2 is for all those that were in Age Group 2 last season, and those invited to join this season. Practice Schedules

Practice times will be the same as last year, outlined below. Practices begin on Wednesday, August 13th at the outdoor pool (Map). Practices move to the indoor pool (Map) on September 8th. Pre-Team lessons also start on the week of September 8th.

Age Group 1

Monday-Thursday 6:00-7:15pm (15min Dryland, 60min Swimming)

Age Group 2

Monday-Thursday: 5:00-6:45pm (75min Swimming, 30min Dryland)
Friday 5:00-6:30pm (No Dryland)
Saturday 8:30-10:00am (No Dryland)

Seniors

Monday-Friday 3:45-5:30pm (15min Dryland, 90min Swimming)
Saturday 8:30-10:00am (No Dryland)

Pre-Team

Begins September 8/9th
Monday&Wednesday or Tuesday&Thursday
30 minute lessons, between 4:00-6:30pm - exact class times are TBD.
Registration will open in mid August. An email announcement will be made when that is open.
