    City Meet Entries!

Attached are the preliminary entries for City Meet. Tonight is the deadline for us to submit our entries, however changes may be made until Monday afternoon. Please review your entries! Email me if you have any questions, concerns, or preferences.

I used the last three City Meet results to make a prediction on everyone's placement in every event. I also took into account the size of an event: being ranked 30th out of 150 in the 50 Free is way better than being 25th out of 26 in the 200 IM. I took into account USAS times and High School times, which should be reflected in the entry report. Let me know if you want to see your swimmer's predicted placements!

Relay entries are tricky for City Meet, as there are three options - Mixed, Medley, and Free, but each swimmer can only swim two. My method for maximizing relay points is to first list the best relays for every event, then sort them from highest rank to lowest (again, based on the past three City Meet results). I go down the list and either lock-in the relay team, or remove the relay team if someone is already in the maximum number of events. The process then repeats with the remaining swimmers, ending once no new relays can be made.

One last thing. As City Meet is only a week away, swimmers are welcome to come to both morning and evening practices to prepare!
