SAC Meet Results!
Great meet team!
What a great swim meet! Final Score SAC: 351, NFC: 313. Full results are attached to this email. Please read over the results and check for possible corrections.
I would like to thank all our parents for volunteering at the meet. These meets simply would not happen without dozens of you all helping out! The meet ran very smoothly and everyone had a great time!
SAC had 138 new best times, including 124 improved times. Our quad event winners are Tessa Breeden, Ranell Johnson-Jovee, Dara Lopez, Mason Pugh, Grayer Scheppmann, and Alexis Schmidt. These swimmers won all four of their events! Most meets we have one or two quad event winners, but SIX quad event winners is unprecedented. Congratulations everyone!
Our next meet is at Fox Denn on Monday, June 16. There will be no practice and no Pre-Team on that day. RSVP here! Entries are due by Sunday night, 9pm. We have a new theme for this meet: “Be the Coach!” where you dress up as one of the coaches!
Lastly, here is an explanation of the columns in the results document:
The first column is their "Heat Place", a “1-2” means they swam in heat 1, finishing in place 2. The next column is the overall place in the event, according to their time. After the Name is the Age; in this league, your "age" is your age on 5/31/2025. The Seed column is what your previous time is. “NT" means you haven't swam the event before, “No Time”. The Official column is the time that the timers wrote down. The last column is points. First=5 points, Second=3, Third=2, Fourth=1. There is a rule that only two teammates may score in each event, so it is possible to finish fifth, and score a fourth place point. You can also finish third and score no points if your two teammates beat you. In relays, First=7, Second=3, and only one relay per team may score.
