I have updated our GKAISA team records. We had 9 new team records set at City Meet last week! At the bottom are the details on each record broken this year. Attached is an updated pdf with our team records. Please check the document for mistakes! I recently found that incorrect names were posted in the Girls 11-12 Medley Relay.

Also included in the document are two newly discovered records! Relay splits from the first swimmer may also count as a record, so I checked every relay SAC has ever swum to check if the first leg got a record. This year Alexis Schmidt started off the Mixed 13-14 200yd Freestyle Relay in record time, swimming a 50yd Freestyle in 24.74 seconds. The second record was set in 2019 by Jocelyn Waits. She beat her own record for the 11-12 50yd Backstroke starting off the Medley Relay with a time of 30.90. Her previous record from the same meet was 31.06.

Mixed 13-14 200yd Free Relay: Alexis Schmidt, Halla Warren, Luke DeGhetto, Paul Didenko - 1:38.74, beating a 2021 time of 1:39.06 by Will Corrado, Jocelyn Waits, Jenna Nave, Samuel Brackins.

Mixed 15&Over 200yd Free Relay: Samuel Brackins, Jocelyn Waits, Jenna Nave, Jake DeGhetto - 1:34.51, beating a 2013 time of 1:35.31 by Sterling Burnett, Chandler Horne, Natalie Burnett, Matthew McFalls.

Boys 8&Under 100yd IM: Ian Clabough - 1:33.87, beating a 2012 time of 1:37.29 by Alex Ogle.

Boys 13-14 200yd IM: Luke DeGhetto - 2:10.55, beating a 2011 time of 2:12.04 by Sterling Burnett.

Womens 15&Over 200yd IM: Jenna Nave - 2:14.09, beating a 2011 time of 2:15.77 by Natalie Burnett.

Girls 13-14 50yd Freestyle: Alexis Schmidt - 24.74, beating a time of 25.89 by Heide Lawson. This record was set as the starting leg the previously mentioned relay record.

Womens 15&Over 50yd Breaststroke: Jenna Nave - 29.94, beating a 2003 time of 30.66 by Cassie Fahrlender. That was the team's oldest record. Jenna now has the breaststroke record in all 5 age groups.

Boys 13-14 50yd Butterfly: Luke DeGhetto - 26.71, beating a 2008 time of 27.60 by Michael Newsom.

Girls 13-14 200yd Free Relay: Halla Warren, Anna Kate Blalock, Elah Brinkley, Alexis Schmidt - 1:45.47, beating a 2019 time of 1:49.15 by McKenna Layman, Joslin Nave, Katherine Gomez, Paige Rader.
